Lodging accommodations in our private Moravian Stone cottage (circa 1730) provide a wonderful alternative to the typical hotel stay – ideal for a romantic New Jersey vacation or weekend getaway for two or a relaxing hideaway just for you! In addition to our cottage rental, we also have two private suites available for extended stays in our renovated carriage house (circa 1800).
Alexander Adams Homestead is conveniently located near Hope, NJ -- just one hour from New York City and 30 minutes from the Shawnee and Camel Back ski resorts. During your stay with us, you can enjoy all of the activities and attractions the Jersey Skylands region has to offer, including hiking, skiing, golf, horseback riding, fine dining, antique and outlet shopping, and much more.
On Weekends, a full breakfast is delivered to your room at a pre-determined time. You can be up to wish me a good morning or sleep in and wake up to coffee and breakfast awaiting you.
On weekdays, we set up a continental breakfast for you in your room the night before.
We clean up breakfast every day, but we do not enter the rest of the living space unless requested. We find our guests sometimes prefer the privacy of their space.
Everyone needs to be spoiled once in awhile.
